So we realized that the trailer was not going to be finished by the end of summer and decided not to sweat it. Sal and Michelle at the Back Eddy were kind enough to offer me a space at the outdoor bar on Sunday evenings when we have live music. I could sell my
sno-cones and customers could either have rum added or not!
Yay! It has been a lot of fun and I practiced using my machine and making syrups. So far have sold out the times I was there. The flavors I made have been: Blackberry-lavender, Peach-mango, Pineapple-coconut, Lime-mint, Ginger Lemonade, Strawberry, and Watermelon-basil. I use just fresh fruit, cane sugar and water. Can't wait to try it in the trailer ( no booze of course!) Hopefully this fall I can try out some fairs. Chuck has done a beautiful job on the trailer and I'll update with some pictures soon. Cheers!
